So I haven’t touched this story in awhile but I wanted to post some stuff of my first G/T OC
This is Lynn, she’s a borrower who lives in the walls of a K-12 school and tutors the kids struggling with their classes while not revealing herself. It’s a concept I really want to turn into a full comic one day but until then have some of her old art and concepts.
“Of course the elevator’s broken.” Thought Juniper as they trudged up 5 flights of stairs. The weight of their textbooks taking a toll on their back.
Juniper took off the heavy book bag and searched a bit until they found the keys to the apartment. The door opened with an annoying creak. Any other day Juniper would have attempted to call the landlady to fix it, but of course, she never answered so what the point of calling again. They tossed the book bag at the foot of the couch the flopped on the couch themselves. It was the most relaxing thing Juniper had done all day; they could lay on the couch forever.
CRASH
Or maybe not. They begrudgingly got up from the couch to check the damage. One of the cabinet’s above the kitchen counter was opened and out of the cabinet fell a box of macaroni. There was dried pasta all over the place.
“What the hell?” Juniper grabbed the box, “I haven’t even opened the- oh….”
One of the bottom corners of the box had been torn opened. But how did the box fall out of the cabinet? And who opened the box, to begin with? There was only one logical conclusion:
“Mouse….”
Juniper quickly pulled everything out of the cabinet; Cereal boxes, Chips, Ramen, until the cabinet was empty. The only thing in the cabinet was a small hole in the corner which, despite several attempts to cover or seal it, had been revealed once more.
“What kind of mouse is this? It’s never gone for the sugary foods, never falls any of the traps, and it keeps opening that stupid hole.”
Ever since they moved into the apartment, this mouse has been causing Juniper problems. This was the third box of macaroni and cheese in the last two weeks.
That’s it, enough is enough. Juniper pulled out their phone and dialed the landlady’s number.
“She never seems to pick up when I need her. They taught. “But I’ll call them a thousand times if I-“
“Hello?”
“Oh my gosh, you picked up!”
“Excuse me?”
“Oh did I say that out loud…? Sorry. I’m Juniper Evergreen of room 514, I seem to have a pest issue-“
“Sorry, pests aren’t my jurisdiction.”
“But-“
“Room 514 right? Listen I’ll send my nephew over there to check it out, he’s an exterminator.”
“Than-“
“You can thank me but not calling me after 5 on weekdays.”
“Oh ok.” That explained why she never picks up.
“His name is Horatio, he happens to be close by, shouldn’t be more than 20 minutes.”
“Than-“
*Beep*
“Annnnnnnd she hung up.”
Juniper took one last peek into the cupboard, they could have sworn they saw a shadow move, but there was still nothing there. They chose to not think about it for now, after all, their mouse troubles would be over in twenty minutes.
Exterminator..?
HERE!?!?
IN TWENTY MINUTES!!!!????
“That’s it,” he thought. “I’m a goner.”
Corriander tried to be sneaky. He tried to be quiet. He tried to be courteous to his new human roommate, but he failed.
“I just needed one ingredient for this recipe,” Corriander looked down at the mess of macaroni that he caused. “Now...I.....I’m...”
Corriander sniffled, holding back his tears. Twenty minutes isn’t enough to completely move out, but it’s enough to grab the essentials get out before it’s too late. When the human wasn’t looking, he made a mad dash home.
G/T Story Concept I Wanna Draw/Write But OMG I Dont have the Time:
Kirby: A fairy researching humans and has a blatant disregard for keeping fairies secret if it means getting vital information.
Julio: An inner city kid who was not mentally prepared to have a magical creature fly into his room and interview him. Thankfully the fairy’s gone and he can pretend like nothing ever happened right?
