WES: he tries, but sometimes his strong nature comes across harshly, especially in his department of forgiving people. sometimes i understand him, sometimes i don’the gives forgiveness to a person who’s wronged him after they’ve proven to him that they’ll change, and he usually reserves this mindset for people who end up hurting him bad, but sometimes he does it a bit heavy-handed like wes. calm down. nobody’s hurting you that bad

Harley rubs the back of his neck with a sigh. “Well, obviously there’s none about me, but from my face claim, she loves saving up fanfiction where he basically gets beaten to a pulp. Just, any and all situations where he comes back like a shredded mess. On the flip side, there’s a lot of fluffy situations too. It just alternates between fluff or angst, and that tendency to project could be seen with how she plays me.” A wry grin. “Can’t really complain, though.”

WOW that’s an interesting one.

I unfortunately do have to give credit to someone who ended up being a toxic person; i won’t name them, but they did inspire me to write more prose. 

but on a better note, i do really have to thank SCAD ( @poisonouskunoichi )! i remember it was a while ago they made a post about the difficulties of being able to churn out activity, and their post is something i go to time and time again as inspiration for what i need to get done. they’re constantly a beacon of bettering myself as an rp’er, maybe not necessarily a writer, but they’ve definitely helped me understand that there’s a clear distinction between the two

Like many others, he fell for Ghetsis’s propaganda and came to Unova in order to join Team Plasma.

Often went on missions with Dark / the Shadow Triad. He showed an interest in Dark and attempted to make conversation with him on numerous occasions. He hoped to be able to befriend Dark and learn more about him, as he was concerned by how isolated Dark kept himself from others.

He never did manage to befriend Dark, who kept everyone at arm’s length at the time, and wasn’t used to people trying to be his friend. Kazuma never pushed him.

Fled back to Johto after the first collapse of Team Plasma. He currently lives quietly in Violet City, and hasn’t been out of the region since.

Okay, so after awhile, Harley had this bright idea to get to know his other friends. There are some where he feels like he knows them accurately enough while others remain more on the I know you but I don’t really know you kind. Given that Bianca had been kind enough to teach him a few recipes, and they had shared more than one meal with wine together, it’s about time that he learnt more about Cheren’s girlfriend.

So, when he heard his friend saying that he wished he had time to teach Bianca on how to execute presentations, Harley jumped at the chance. He offered to help her on her body language, voice projection and all that fun jazz. While he looks like he didn’t care half the time, he knows how to command attention when he wants to. Cheren seemed to be a little unsure at first -- for reasons he would later find out -- but eventually passes on the message.

That’s how, an hour earlier, Harley found himself waiting at a park in Aspertia for Bianca. They met up, exchanged a few words before they took a walk together through the park. Harley works better when he’s moving about, and Bianca latches onto his explanations like she really is a student in a classroom. It had been a pretty nice time, until the universe decides that hey, maybe it’s time to rain on their parade.

Like, literally rain. Seems like there was a Pokemon battle up ahead, with one of them setting up a Rain Dance. A mild inconvenience but nothing that merits a speck of danger. That proves to be a costly mistake. Harley went back to his explanations, only to snap up at the sound of frantic calls. It seems that the rain had made the ground muddy, so the Miltank that used Rollout slid out of the turn he was making... and heading straight for them.

It’s a bit of a blur, considering he blacked out from a slam to the back of the head but he has a vague recollection of pushing Bianca out of the way. The two Trainers are panicking around them, one calling for an ambulance while the other tried to rouse them. Harley manages to sit up, wincing at the sharp pain from his shoulder and the general ache of getting slammed into a tree by a Milktank’s Rollout.

He’s not given time to check up on Bianca before paramedics arrived. After a quick check-up, its a pretty speedy ride to the hospital. It’s not long before they’re sitting out of the ER room, pain dulled slightly from the given painkillers. This isn’t an uncommon sight for him, but it’s a first to see a friend of his be here as a patient as well. 

“So. Rollout.” Harley shifts, suppressing a wince. “Are we to agree that it’s an evil move? Or the pink Pokemon that ran us over? Are Miltanks the true evil, in the end?”

Probably a dramatic statement, but hey, he’s bored and they’re waiting their turn. Harley hopes that it’ll be Peter and Brenda on duty tonight.
