my favourite part about gman/bubby? tommy. He's coming home a little late to just .. see bubby eating dinner with his dad. he gets like slightly reprimanded for being late but joins the meal anyway and he's just so fucking shocked because why is bubby eating with my dad????
eventually he chalks it up as a strange kind of reminder that gman won't wait to cook for him if he's late for their shared meal, which is fine, but then he sees bubby the next morning. he's hanging out and wearing one of gmans far too long shirts. tommy is so fucking shocked and he can't get any words out.
bubby says he spent the night with gman (which is true, but he's trying to freak tommy the fuck out and imply they had sex. they did not. bubby just split food on his shirt after tommy went to bed and gman offered him a new shirt and then they watched a movie together in bed)
