This most hearty and robust honey is harvested from the tiny white blossoms on the buckwheat plant from WA. It is combined with fresh local organic cream and a 75%+ MORETTA™ dark chocolate to enhance its musty and earthy aromas with a touch of spice. Hand-enrobed in a special 76%+ MORETTA™ dark chocolate, rests on a bed of Spanish Bee Pollen with dark Pailletes Fins, and sprinkled with Poppy Seeds. (B1430, 1431, 1432) Pairing: Tawny Porto, warm Brandy/Cognac, Malbec, or contrast with espresso or black tea.

Buckwheat blossom honey truffle INGREDIENTS: dark Chocolate (Cacao Beans, Sugar, Cacao Butter, Sunflower & soy Lecithin, Vanilla), buckwheat blossom honey, organic cream, glucose. Rests on a bed of bee pollen and DARK PAILETTES FINS (SUGAR, UNSWEETENED CHOCOLATE, COCOA BUTTER, WHOLE MILK POWDER, MILKFAT, NATURAL VANILLA FLAVOR) and sprinkled with poppy seeds. Ganache: The Buckwheat Blossom Honey chocolate ganache is made with local organic cream, our specially formulated 63%+ fine dark chocolate and a robust, dark honey gathered from the nectar of the delicate, white flowers of the buckwheat grain.

Truffle: This special honey ganache is typically encased in a 52% semisweet chocolate and then enrobed in our Moretta™  74%+ dark chocolate, and topped with either Coconut Palm Sugar, or Dark Muscovado.

Pairing: Tawny Porto, Sherry, warm brandy or Cognac, Malbec, Merlot, or contrast with espresso or black tea.

Buckwheat Honey: This most hearty and robust honey is harvested from the tiny white blossoms on the buckwheat plant, planted in Montana and the Dakotas [True Source Certified]. Buckwheat Honey is very dark in color, typically compared with black strap molasses, with a musty, earthy aroma and a touch of spice.
