IT’S SO GOOD it’s called Potterless and he knows next to nothing about the books before starting but each episode he’ll have a different guest who’s read the books before and he talks through his theories and some of them are just sO WRONG it’s literally the funniest shit ever

What's winterfox?

She’s … uh, difficult to summarize, but at varying points has been a troll, a cultish BNF, a vitriolic reviewer, a harasser, a dedicated stalker, and a shit-stirring sf/f writer, among other things. Her stock in trade is hating popular things and people who like those popular things, including things that she herself has been a fan of under different personas.

To this day, I have no idea what the cartoonish malevolence is about, particularly towards women writing sf/f. She comes from one of the richest families in the world, so it’s not like she’s dependent on her writing career (though she’s been happy to wreck the careers of people who were). Despite periodic apologies before relapsing, I’ve never seen any sign of real remorse. 

In any case, these days she’s well-known as the author/Twitter discourser Benjanun Sriduangkaew. I keep my distance from anything associated with her.

Hi! I really admire your characterization abilities in your writing; you pick up on a lot of nuance and have better characterization that I see on a lot of tumblr. I always enjoy your posts about it :)

I study literature IRL, so—I mean, fandom and lit crit definitely have their differences, but of course there are huge amounts of overlap. (I doubt I’d have ended up in either without the other!) But I definitely hope to pick up nuance, on and off the clock :)

lol it’s been a week and everyone at work is still like “are you feeling okay????” all the time

according to my doctor concussion symptoms can last for up to a month which is WILD can you imagine my bad memory being even worse for an entire month lmao fuck this i’m out

Thank you <3  It came a bit out of nowhere (I only added the last couple of chapters into the masterdoc today, and then surprise! 300!) so ... yeah, news to me, haha. But thanks for the support in my non-fandom endeavours :P
