Just wanted to let you know I've been reading (almost) all of your Malex fic recs, especially now that I'm quarantined, and I have been loving every minute of it. Keep it up because it's bringing joy to people! Thanks so much!

i’ve been going back and forth about keeping up with the fic recs. i like doing them but i wasn’t sure that people still found them useful. i’m so glad to hear that it’s helping in this time of stress and anxiety!!

House of Leaves is a ride. Super unsettling and eerie but it was super good. Just.... have a dictionary on standby because the vocabulary is off the rails.

I kind of flipped through it a bit and now I know I have to prepare myself for an experience™

Top 6 scenes with Loki. (I had to make it really hard - my brain is too fried to do anything else...)

Oh gosh, it has been an embarrassingly long time since I watched any of these movies!  I do love my angsty baby, though.  Okay, in no particular order...

1. “Death” scene in Thor 2.  All I’ve ever wanted, basically.

2. Flying the ship with Thor in Thor 2.  Squabbling brothers, I love it.

3. I love the battle scene in Jotunheim at the beginning of Thor 1.  I love him being part of the team before the *entire* thing went sideways...

4. “I have an army.”  “We have a Hulk.”  (And everything associated.)

5. Argument with Thor on the cliff post jumping out of plane and pre Thor and Tony Break Midgard/doth mother know you weareth her drapes.  And Loki watching gleefully while that goes down...

6. Does the scene with the guns from the Thor 3 trailer count?  IDEK what is going on but I’m freaking IN LOVE.

I KNOW I’m missing something really obvious so if you are like “wow I’m shocked you didn’t include ‘x’ please tell me because it’s been far too long since I’ve seen these movies vet school is eating my life and Babylon 5 also happened Loki bby I’m sorry.

Also it is embarrassing how many scenes came to mind that I had to discard because they were actually part of my fanfiction...lol!  But there you have it.  ;)

I haven’t actually picked any up really, I’ve had papers and stuff to write so between that and writing fic I haven’t had time to get wild with some craft supplies haha

See my friends, also ideally go back home to NY to see my family and my cat who I miss very much

13. what’s keeping you sane?

Well, it was Roswell, but that, uh, blew up in my goddamn face. Yesterday was really hard tbh, but I’m basically trying to just keep myself busy and I’ve been watching a lot of like Bon Appetit videos and stuff, which is slowly healing my soul

9. What is your favourite item of clothing?

Hmm. I love jumpers, tbh. Big, fluffy ones that I can hide away in–but the ones I have are kind of washed out so I’m on the hunt for a new one!

11. Who is a mentor to you?

The hardest question. At some point I would’ve said John Lennon, 10 years ago. Now I like to read Invictus again and again, and let my own wishes guide me while trying to avoid hurting others (spoiler alert: I suck at not hurting people).

15. Which element best represents you?

Fire, hands down. If you get too close to me, I’ll burn you.
