In Buffy's musical episode, at the end of "what can't we face if we're together", Anya's line "except for bunnies" at the very end it's a cute comic relief, sure... But also, I just realized, maybe, it alludes to the fact that there's no big bad they can't fight and conquer, but the hardest thing to fight and conquer, the thing that will always really be in the way of their happiness, is their own fears.
