Such a diverse little spot in the middle of nowhere on Smoky Valley Ranch: General Custer once camped nearby, the Pawnee Indians established a small village here, a buffalo kill site is very close, and this was the site of a trail despatch where travelers could stop for food, shelter, and to swap out horses.
