Time Jump
So josh confirmed that there was a time jump of two months since “For The Last Time” and thank goodness because the time line needed to move along after six episodes in ten days but my problem with that is they never clarified how long it had been since Buffy moved I thought it was like maybe two or three days others thought it was a week or even the next day and this could’ve have been avoided if the put the whole two months later thing but then it would’ve also been kinda awkward. Like if they would’ve erased that uncomfortably long montage of Andi falling asleep they could’ve added a few lines like maybe Tj saying “underdog haven’t seen you around in a while how are you” and when andis trying to define the relationship she could’ve said “ I know we’ve been tip toeing around the subject of us for a few weeks but blah blah *jandi ensues* “ Cece and bex could have added a line talking about how they’ve been putting off discussing business and put some throwaway excuse. But then that still brings the walker thing I mean if Andi was ignoring him for two months then why would he think they were still friends or maybe she wasn’t ignoring him and they were still hanging out and then the shoes make a lot more sense. Idk this is just an idea but I know most are hoping they explain this storyline and move on I hope they do a little something with it like maybe her mom wasn’t too good at her job considering her bias towards army family so the army let her go from that position so they move back to shady side but then she gets deployed again (I’m a sucker for angst) and I wish they wouldn’t jump in to Buffy’s crush like maybe they could be giving us super small like Cyrus still having a crush on Jonah small subtext and then delve into it in season three but oh well I’m not on the writing team sadly because I’m team juffy all the way lmao but anyways thanks for coming to my ted talk let’s hope they do this storyline some justice because the moving around is a reality to army families. Okay so now I’m done.
