I went to a Buffy themed Burlesque show this weekend and let me tell u the best fucking part
There was a performer doing a Drusilla act (her movements were so spot on it was so good)… and then suddenly about 1/2 way through her song she kind of stops. And looks at the front row. And does very thrall-ish hand motions. I’m like hell yea she’s so cool- BUT THEN. A woman suddenly stands up and I’m like wtf is this part of the act??
But then this woman starts walking up the steps to the stage and into the light and HOLY SHIT this woman is in the most impeccable Kendra cosplay in the entire world. And this girl is a great mf actor too because she never even looked away from Drusilla ONCE. She glided out of her seat and onto the stage like she was thralled for real.
Anyways I’m fucking cheering for the burlesque performance and also part screaming because I know what Drusillas gonna do to my girl Kendra. Once on stage Drusilla glides around Kendra for a bit, then turns to her and SLITS HER NECK!!!! Kendra collapses to the floor and Drusilla finishes her routine all is good in the world.
It was the wildest most amazing experience ever and I can’t believe I got to be in a room with so many amazing Buffy fans and performers.
