18 Things I Learned From Buffy the Vampire Slayer

To celebrate its 18th Anniversary, here are the 18 things (some silly, some not) I learned from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. My favourite show of them all.

18. It’s impossible to keep secrets at school. 

17. Hyenas are bad. Stay away from them. 

16. Not all witches are like Sabrina. Should stay away from them too.

15. Don’t talk to strangers.

14. Don’t make wishes. They might actually come true. 

13. Kicking ass is comfort food.

12. People do take notice of you. Your hard work doesn't go unnoticed.

11. Don’t be that guy when you come across an ex. It’s not worth it.

10. Your friends get busy. Doesn't mean they have forgotten about you or love you any less.

9. Sex is bad. Sleep with the guy and he goes all evil.

8. You can say a lot without words. 

7. Sometimes you make sacrifices for the people you love. 

6. Don’t settle for Captain Cardboard if your heart’s not 110% in it. 

5. Your friends suffer breakdowns and need you even if they won’t admit it. 

4. Girl effing power.

3. Sometimes déjà vu is pretty cool. Keep those moments.
