20 years ago today Buffy the Vampire Slayer made its television debut. Back then TV wasn't like it was today and you either watched a show in its time slot or you didn't. I caught an episode here and there but I wish I would have had time to watch each episode as it aired originally. I didn't really get taken in by its brilliance until I borrowed the seasons that were out on dvd from my sister Cassidy and watched them with Genine probably around 2001/2002. This is when my fangirl life began. Since then I have met some of the actors and made some amazing friends because of our mutual love for this show. I am thankful for the comfort and experiences it has guided me through and inspired. This show isn't just about some silly California girl who slays vampires, at it's core, this show has taught me more about life than anything else and even inspired names of those closest to me. I could go on and on speaking volumes in this subject but I would have needed to start the post days ago to get it all. Buffy the Vampire Slayer isn't just a television show, it's life.

Wait, do you ever get like flat out hate for it? D:
Growing up? Yes. But mind you, I was born in the 80's in Arizona. Times have changed. :) But still the best reaction I generally hope for to this day is non-caring. No one gets as excited about my parents as tumblr does, lmao (one of the reasons I love it here!)
Hi I would just like to say that your blog is one of my very favorites!! I'm going through your blog and wondering like can I get pregnant from this? xx
Thank you! You're so nice! :)
I wonder that everytime I see a picture of James Marsters tbh.
LET ME JUST SAY THAT I AM IN LOVE WITH YOUR BLOG.
thank you!
