New Bug Reporting Form

In effort to make it easier to report any bugs found, as well as make cross referencing information sources for users a bit more connected, a new Google Form will be used from here forward to report any bugs users come across. This also makes it easier to do so from an access standpoint as well because it doesn’t matter where you interact with the content, you have a consistent way to communicate a bug.

The form is subject to update as we refine the process of what questions need to be asked, what resources we can help lead you to, so on and so forth.  That being said; from this point forward ALL BUG REPORTS must be submitted through the google form. We will not respond to them if they are placed on download threads/posts/replies/etc.

Collection of Bugs I have had over the following week of star rider

I used to code to get a week of star rider, and here's all the bugs I've encountered so far

TLDR; I should be a bug tester for SSO with the amount of bugs I've found in the past 4 days

Caution: Spoilers ahead. It's all released content so if you're update you'll be fine but yeahhhh

- Wildwoods rocks not working properly (can't jump from one outcropping to another. Very frustrating in the quest to jump onto the giant drum. They work if you relog a couple times in the right place.

- Memory fragments not teleporting me after finishing the memory, claiming 'You have taken a dangerous fall'. I had to call for pickup to get my horse from Jarlahiem and then take transport back to Jarlaheim. This happened for every single memory quest where we were meant to be teleported back. It did not happen on the way there.

- Memory fragment cutscene people not being in the right position/missing hair. The only two done correctly was with Catherine talking to Justin and the Player with an animation; and Thomas and Catherine walking together for Halloween. All other memories either were missing hair/etc. or weren't in the right position (often partially in the ground or T-posing.)

- Cannot continue the main storyline to save Fripp. I can answer Ydris and Pi just fine and get the 'no they wont help' but if I click on Mrs. Holdsworth there is no cutscene or text bubble, it cannot be continued.

- In Governer's fall you cannot go to SSE's 'Star Stable' Building without falling into the ground and being in an endless loop forcing you to log off. This means you cannot complete the Token's Travels quest.

- In Aideen's Plaza I clicked on something sparkling in the cafe presuming it was a photo and SSO just crashed.* * Unsure if this can be replicated or solved, I'll try look into it?

- Music just stopping entirely. Probably to do with how the music is overlaid, with the top one being Christmas, then location specific then general songs for races (Miscreants,etc.). Races with the original soundtrack don't typically cut out either. If the music swaps to another soundtrack (Training Mayor Peanut) it will often stop, and after that sometimes music just wont re-appear for a while/at all. My music, game & master volume is on full, and my ambient sounds are a little lower, but ambient sounds & game sounds do not cut out.

- When taking Token's photos the time gets a little messed up. If you go into most places in Jorvik City it'll be day, but as soon as you take a photo it becomes night.

- Additionally when taking some photos they don't quite appear in the right place or are missing token entirely. Unsure if that's to do with player location or a bug, but the following photo is meant to be the one with the mime in Aideen's Plaza...

- Being given 300 agility in the Barrel racing/etc. at Starshine ranch, though I think that may be purposeful? But it threw me off quite a bit.

These are all the ones off the top of my head that I've experienced. There may be more I'm forgetting but anyway, a lot of the time I am spending on SSO right now is trying to complete quests and realising I can't.

All these bugs were experienced on a level 21 account on Cupcake Valley [UK server 1] with the free star rider trial given by SSO 'WINTERRIDER' copied and pasted directly from the article that said it. The code was redeemed on Saturday 18th December, the day after it was announced on the website.

Screenshot for bug reporting. I've had it happen like 5 times now. I'll kill a Scalda who's running for the Stormfall alarm, and the Eleanor Hex Override which turns a dead enemy into a Specter procs. Instead of helping me fight, the sucker keeps running to the alarm and sets it off. And since it's a friendly mob there's no way I can stop them.

Equal parts funny and annoying. That's not how you help, buddy.

Ok, can you detail your issue here? If you don't have a script error report then just provide as much detail as you can (when exactly the reset happens, who is your doc, who is the prescription for, etc).

Warframe screenshot for bug reporting. I was running a Kuva Fortress void fissure, and I went in for a finisher just as one of the other Grineer behind me pulled an alarm. And of course, I was right next to a console. The lockpick screen came up for a second, but I think it closed before I could react and my camera got jammed up close to my Warframe. It was way more disorienting in game because it also put my aim off center. I couldn't figure out how to face the mobs to fight or get back to the console to try and lift the lockdown. Luckily I tried shifting to Operator, and that fixed my camera. I was able to get to extraction safely after that.
