My husband is a photographer for the Midsouth Garrison of the 501st Legion and today I got to go to an event with him. I was nervous because it’s my first time going to a convention since my diagnosis. But you know what? I had a lot of fun! I stayed at the booth taking pictures of the kids with Vader while Damon walked the floor with the Storm Troopers. I feel like  I successfully overcame an obstacle today and I’m pretty proud of myself. We went to Bugapaluza afterward, which I was really hoping to be actual bugs but it was just a Volkswagen event. Still, I managed about an hour of that before I started wearing down. He took me to a nursery afterwards and all the greenly growing things helped me feel better. I’ve been planning our garden for what seems like forever and we are supposed to start planting this weekend but it keeps raining. *sad* Overall, a very good day!
