(Another party member once asked them about their happiest memory, and they recalled for the group the first time they forged a sword that their father and smithing master deemed good enough to display for sale in his shop. Making weapons doesn’t really bring them a lot of joy anymore now that they’ve seen firsthand what it’s like on either end of a blade, but they’ll never forget the feeling of making Alberich proud.)
🌙 If your OC could have one wish come true what would it be and why? Would there be consequences to this wish or would they regret it once they get what they want? What would they give in return for this wish to come true?
For a while, their one wish was to bring their dad back to life after believing they’d gotten him killed, but they eventually found out he was revived after their long-lost adopted bastard brother James found him! So now he’s with the party and Bugbear has to deal with a lot of repressed Sibling Feelings in exchange for their dad being not dead. Be careful what you wish for, I guess?

8. What location encountered in the campaign has your character felt the most “at home” in, or just generally liked the most?
We spent a lot of time at an inn in a big city called Lunestra! For a while Bugbear got to share a room w their bf Felix and that was nice, but I think the best was the time the whole party crashed together in a big pillow fort slumber party & played truth or dare. That felt a lot like home.
15. What battle in the campaign has been most memorable to your character?
OOH. Okay there was the one time the party was fighting some slime creatures in a really rough dungeon & the youngest member of the group (like 12 years old young) got absorbed and came WAY too close to suffocating/getting accidentally killed by friendly fire. That Was Pretty Memorable. Bugbear themself has “died” twice in battle already (once if you ask the DM but I think temporary petrification counts!!!!) but they got better so hey.
MOST memorable though is probably the big catastrophic political murderball we collectively refer to as The Gala, during which we learned our boss was being possessed by the big bad usurper god, several of our loved ones (including Felix) were briefly held hostage, and two of our party members decided to leave without saying goodbye. Also sibling drama.
36. What would be your character’s theme song/favorite band/favorite genre of music?
I have……….playlists
I think of The Magnetic Fields and AJJ as “their” bands, but their theme song is probably A Better Son/Daughter by Rilo Kiley. Their favorite genre is anything played by their boyfriend on his cool magic fiddle.
