One of my only recent comms that doesn’t involve ass and so on. They’re not even spicy comms I just draw people with no clothes on a lot. 200 years ago that was the done thing! Anyway this is Lucifer, who is @jagdstorm‘s terrible child. She let me have at it with the armour design so I think I spent nearly as much time researching ideas as I did drawing.

the first character i ever fell in love with: Alvin.
a character that i used to love/like, but now do not: I wish this question was ‘grew on me most’. Nobody turned out to do something weird or crappy who wasn’t signposted a mile away as about to do something weird or crappy so nobody let me down or nothin’.
a ship that i used to love/like, but now do not: I only have like, one ship anyway.
my ultimate favorite character™: Yeah it’s Alvin. I love Gilland but Alvin.
prettiest character: Leah! She’s really sweet and dresses so ladylike, I guess that suits ‘pretty’ the most.
my most hated character: Whatserface. The one with the same voice as the annoying triangle thing from Steven Universe. She’s just abrasive and edgy.
my OTP: Eheh.
my NOTP: I googled my bot Gilland and as much fanart as there was, were creepy as fuck Gilland/Alvin doujin, that’s just, eugh?? Awful.
favorite scene: Honestly I’m a Gilland stan, the scene before his fight is so rad, fuck it. Also BAZONGAS
saddest death: Milla would’ve been sad if I didn’t know she’s be back because JRPGs work that way in 90% of cases. Elise’s adoptive papa dying was sad tbh.
character that everyone else in the fandom loves, but i hate: I don’t dislike any characters, even the asshole ones, let alone any major character.
my ‘you’re piece of trash, but you’re still a fave’ fave: Gillandor Yul Svent damn my eyes.
my ‘beautiful cinnamon roll who deserves better than this’ fave: Elise. Just let this sweet daughter live.

Anyway, this here is the Duke. For this one i used the old master’s palette again, started in Corel. I wanted to really emulate the appearance of oil portraits used by royals and famous figures pre-camera, while retaining my own spin on it and using what digital art has to offer. I had fun!
As I said on my twit, I’m currently self isolating over a persistent cough. I’m taking ko-fi and PayPal commissions at a discounted rate. Minimum would be $5 for a head sketch, moving up based on what you’d like. It’s negotiable, I’m not going anywhere and could use the USD for gog.com purchases....

One of two, actually, the other will be... The Girls. I got the composition idea after weeks or noodling cos I love this character and all. Then incubated it while I was in Florence, hence the somewhat... well, yeah.
Anyway! Thanks for commissioning me. Getting both his forms into one picture was a challenge but I got around it eventually and I’m satisfied with the result. As Atra said:

My Hector as a denizen of @jagdstorm‘s world. I’ve doodled him once or twice but never really sat down and hashed out the aesthetic.
He who fights monsters etc etc. except he was a monster of a man waayyyy before he started sticking pointy objects in demon foxes. Really he was just after an excuse. The crossbow slung over his shoulder is nonsensically powerful, being that it’s a manual lock but has the power of a weapon intended to be wound by crank. Being post-human has its perks.
The nonsense characters are a mashup of Hangeul and early Cuneiform, as well as some Futhark. I like blocky letters.
