“Who has served as a mentor to your character?”
For 150 years of her life, her mentor was the leader of the Way of the Sun Soul monastery that she found herself stumbling onto the doorstep of as a child, Master Amakiir. He, and the rest of the monastery, healed her and cared for her and taught her their ways when she was strong enough to learn.
“What goal is your character determined to reach?”
Above everything else, Lia wants to restore her monastery back to it’s former glory and find more people who wish to study the Way of the Sun Soul too. Currently her way of reaching this goal is being in Chult to stop the death curse so she can bring her old master back and get his help. If that is impossible, she will do it herself.
“When has your character had to let go of something in their life?”
The first time, was as she was walking through the cold, winter winds and she had to let go of her family and come to terms with the fact that they left her to die because she was the weakest link.
The second time was when she came back from her year’s travel to see her monastery nothing more than a pile of ashes and rubble. She had to let go of her second family after that, and let go of the only stability she had ever known.
