Cuando mamá o papá te digan que no sigas a ningún extraño, que les avises adónde vas y que les llames en cuanto llegues a algún destino... bueno, hazles caso, o podría pasarte lo que a Ben (Josh Barclay Caras). Aparentemente un muchacho tranquilo y un hijo ejemplar, el joven siente una irresistible atracción hacia Grant (Donald Eric Cumming), el verdadero “chico malo” de la escuela. 

Todo comienza a salirse de control cuando ambos caminos se unen para pasar un tiempo en una cabaña alejada de todo y Grant, acompañado de un par de amigos no menos tétricos que él, revele un secreto por demás perturbador e inquietante que, desde luego, no develaremos. carterbedloesmith: I haven’t started post production yet but my head is swimming with all things SWALLOWED. 🐛 What an amazing time we had - tromping around the wilds of Maine making this slimy wild queer horror nightmare of a movie. Wasn’t all fun, for sure - but we made it through (with more than a few few bug bites) and are gonna have a crazy fun film to show for it. 🐛 @markpattonnoes2 @thelightingaintright @jenamalone and the one and only Cooper Koch star in the film. I’m so excited to do a deep dive into the world we created. Working with @markpattonnoes2 was like a teenage dream come true. The fact that I found him here on IG and just sent him a DM about the project is crazy. I also met Cooper Koch here on IG years ago - and when we met I told him - “We’re gonna make a film together one day.” He’s not on IG anymore but I LOVE that’s how we first met. This is @thelightingaintright first film! I shot him for @all_the_dead_boys and as I edited the shoot a character named DOM started to come to life. Día 10

- Bugcrush. (Cortometraje)

Ben, un muchacho más bien ordinario, se siente atraído por Grant, una suerte de “chico malo”. Grant, en efecto, lo conducirá por un camino oscuro, que involucra ya no solo sexo, sino diversos tipos de adicciones… y de insectos. 

Un cortometraje de terror gay (“Queer Horror”, lo llaman en algunas clasificaciones), del director de “The ruins”. Con una estética más bien ‘Indie’ y una atmósfera sucia y descarnada, resulta un filme no apto para todos los gustos pero de bastante interés para quien sí lo aguanta. Por momentos recuerda incluso las primeras obras de David Cronenberg, en lo que respecta al interés por las mutaciones tanto físicas como psíquicas, todo ello aunado a la sexualidad emergente.
