how come in movies swarms of insects always sound like snksnknsnksnsnsnksksnksnsknsknskskn

i found an old high school backpack with some good notebooks full of old oc info i forgot about. this is like from around 2011 or so. here’s a copy of one of em’s info. it kinda shows the weird fixations i had back then haha

under tha cut cause it gets kinda lengthy (check tags for warnings)

(so tldr; she’s a gal that has parasitic plants living in her intestines) When she sleeps for too long, the plant in her intestines take over her in a bug/host relationship kind of way. there are bottles and buckets of weed killer strewn about her home so she can fend them off in these situations. when she is unable to do so, her body shuts down and goes numb as if intoxicated. (like vines growing out of your mouth) it feels like something swelling in your stomach and you gag continuously. the plants are cool and don’t warm up, so they soothe the discomfort in a way, but not that much. her stomach produces a sweet sticky liquid that acts as a flytrap. bugs crawl in through her mouth and down her throat, eventually becoming trapped in her stomach. this acts as a nutrition supply and keeps her alive. (so what then?) at some point, someone notices she’s gone and kills the plants for her. she usually vomits a few times after the plants are removed.(haha gruuuuesome!) she does anything she can to pay back whoever saves her. she has very long hair a heavy irish accent, it’s hard to understand her at times. 

that’s just part of it. there’s some p cool other ones, i’ll have to draw em some time.
