Bugtober 2025 - Day 29 - Celebration
Still doing these out of order! When that new version came out like a year ago now, this was, word for word, my exact reaction to getting this new medal.
Also they swear in this comic.
It's so funny how dramatic she gets before the Primal Weevil fight
ATTENTION BUGBLR AND BUG LOVERS!! 🐞🐛🐜🪲🕷️
I did it!! I’ve always wanted to do an October daily drawing project so I made my own cuz ALL I wanna draw is bugs lol. Please please join me if you’d like to! You can do any kind of art or writing for the prompts, no rules or anything :)
If you participate, tag your art as #bugtober or #bugtober 2025
(and/or tag me and I’ll reblog it!)
Boosts are also very much appreciated so we can get more artists joining in! I’d love to see what you make! 💚
A sketch of Team Snakemouth resting above Snakemouth Den that I made for day 1 of Bugtober 2025. I haven't had much time to work on drawing much due to having to work, but I'm at least happy to have made something during the event. :3
I might draw out more of the prompts whenever I can, even if it's past October at this point. Maybe some redraws when I get the chance...
I just love this silly bug game to bits, and what better way to break out of my creative block than trying it? (Emphasis on try...)
Bugtober 31 - Everlasting
Hoaxe never thought he'd see the Dead Lands bloom.
Not with their chill. Their dust and ash. Their monsters and plagues and poison and drought.
He had never expected much life to persist, unless it be twisted, hardened life sharpened against the harsh grindstones of starvation and peril. He himself bore testament enough to that reality.
And yet, lingering here in his strange pocket of between, tethered within the sapling he had died in, he beheld a miracle.
A garden.
A little, soft, glowing garden.
Pollen flecked the air, sparkling with some inner golden glow.
Soft plants sprung from the ground at the base of the everlasting tree, blanketing once hard rock with downy leaves.
Hoaxe had never thought he'd see the Dead Lands bloom - that any good could come of the barren place.
Looking down at the blooming garden, some cracked part of him finally quieted like an ache dissolving under hot water.
Hoaxe smiled to himself as he bore witness to a miracle and a victory.
He supposed he could be content with this, if this were his eternity.
Very content indeed.
