Legend Rider sounds have been hacked from the toy Build Driver! Best of all, Toei and Bandai managed to get a few sound archived clips of familiar voices in there like Akira Kushida!
Even better, some of the Legend Rider Full Bottles connect to pre-exisiting Full Bottles to create the legend forms! (Ex. Wizard and Diamond or Hawk and Medal!)
Got myself a build driver! With the holder no less!
What do you think about the new belt?
I kind of like Kamen Rider Build’s Build Driver.
It’s got a chunky, industrial aesthetic that appeals to me especially with the silver tubes and the gears. The hand crank on the side is a nice touch as well reminding me of the starter cranks on early 20th century cars. It has the feel of a prototype, something newly built in the lab and ready for field testing.
The Full Bottles intrigue me.
They look like they have some kind of liquid in them. I wonder if the crank gets turned the liquid vanishes, maybe in some version of the old baby bottle toy that looks full and ‘drains’ when you tip it upside down. I wish we could see the bottom of one just to clear up if it has pins in it to make belt noises or if the devices themselves make noise like the Gaia Memories or Gashats do and the belt is just there to activate them.
I also wonder if, in the show, he will have to fill the bottles back up between uses, making them either one-use henshin gadgets or ones that need recharging like the Zyudenchi from Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger.
Build Driver arrived just in time for Christmas!
