Cottage Living Build Challenge

A single-bedroom, single-bathroom cottage on the island in Windenburg for an outdoorsy, pet-owning Sim who prefers to be outside the house instead of inside. My entry into the build challenge that @maxismatchccworld is hosting! Check out more info on that here (it’s open until the 25th!). Make sure to use MOO before placing, if you place it -- you don't have to, it's only so-so.

This is by far the most detailed indoor decor I have ever made, and I am really proud of it.

Hello and welcome to the EA Build Restrictions Challenge!

We all know that EA has some mysterious restrictions that they’ve placed on the team that builds the houses they ship with the Sims. And while they’ve been reluctant to share their rules, they HAVE given us nearly 100 lots that follow those restrictions. 

THEREFORE, by counting items and types-of-items used, we can guess with a fair degree of accuracy what the rules are! And lucky for you, I’ve done the counting!

You can find my spreadsheet of item types, lots, and prices here. 

With this data, you can get as granular as you want with the rules, but frankly, this challenge is tough as nails so I’d recommend going broader first.

And, just to get started, I’ve typed up some basic starter challenges. For the sake of these challenges, “items” implies anything that is placed individually. This includes windows, doors, and columns, as well as landscaping and all furnishing. The prices do not include the lot.

This is my build for yellow_plumbob's 'Bundel Build Challenge'. I had to pick 3 packs and make something out of it. I chose 'Get to Work', 'City Living' and 'Stranger Ville' to make this industrial build for a single sim. I used my CC free movie posters in this build.
