I have a personal hc that if Taph were to (hypothetically) get targeted in a round to the point where she’s nearly on death’s door, Builderman would swap clothes with Taph so that they could get away and heal using his dispenser.

Meanwhile, Builderman would head back out into the open and be the one to set up Taph’s traps (with some minor issues, as BM is not experienced with demolition duty by any means…though he has seen Taph set up subspace tripmines before) and wait for the killer of the round (most likely Noli, as Taph can trap generators and throw them off when he teleports - he’d probably get pissed off because of that) to find him and start the chase with ‘Taph’ again.

(The reason why I chose BM specifically for this swapping of clothes is because I feel like Taph would trust him the most ^_^)

anyhow, this other thing I want to mention is more of a tidbit than anything, but as I already mention on the page, I’d like to believe that BM has a horribly low pain tolerance. it’s genuinely abysmal. he gets a papercut, and he has to grit his teeth in order to not react. even then a little sigh works its way out of him anyway. only a few survivors (including Shed, Guest 1337 and Dusekkar) know about it and even then the other two besides Shed don’t know to what extent.

the spectre also takes advantage of this (like Guest 1337, they don’t like BM that much. this is because he doesn’t fear the killers as much as the others, similar to Guest.) by making it so that if BM gets a wound on his hands (and it isn’t a critically, life threatening wound that WILL kill him), it doesn’t heal immediately after the round is over.

this is because he works with his hands, and, like I’ve mentioned before, due to low pain tolerance - if the wound is horrible enough, he isn’t able to build sentries nor dispensers for a few days (at least not to the extent that he wants to. he feels useless to the team if he can’t build that many. he’s builderman. he has to build.)
