A 3D printer (or multiple) would give disabled women the ability to print things that could help them

Tons of benches

Maybe even a map, which shows all bathrooms and benches and even places that haven’t been/can’t be made fully accessible

Avoid acronyms

If you make parks for children, they should be made accessible too

You could also reach out to local organizations for advice on how to make things accessible, as well as when building, make sure to hire some disabled people so they can give their opinions and let you know if something will work or not

I agree so much on the benches, benches are very necessary for everyone involved. And we really don't need acronyms. These are all great pieces of information, thank you so much!

(Disabled anon) I probably have more but this is what I have for now

Doors also need to be able to be opened with the press of a button, or they need to be light enough that most people can open it without trouble

Pathways need to be flat so wheelchairs and people with difficulty walking don't struggle as much

There needs to be space for service animals (depending which country. this may be dogs and ponies, it may just be dogs, or it could be all animals so you'll need to look up the laws) to get around, as well as spaces away from pets if pets are allowed for the service animals to use the bathroom, and to play. (As pets may be untrained and May harm or affect the service animal. Although this is more appreciated then a need)

Bathrooms around toilets and bathtubs/ showers) need grab bars

A pull string in the bathrooms that can be reached from anywhere in the room that alerts someone that the person has fallen

Trash cans designed for medical waste, as well as sharps bins

Floors that aren't slippery

Safety frames around toilets

Adult changing tables

Braille on signs

Indicators for blind people (like on the ground where their white sticks can feel, like how there’s those yellow bumps at the edge of curves. That tells the person that there’s an edge)

Height adjustable furniture could be useful, like desks, tables, cabinets

You’ll want elevators where the doors stay open a bit longer as the normal amount of time is often not enough for some disabled people

Level-style door handles

Lights that aren’t too bright or are adjustable and lamps that have buttons that are large

If there will be a pool, then pool lifts

Furniture should be soft edged or curved

What I can do is very low-tech, but I'm sure natural solutions can be found for all of these, it's important to know about it! I strongly agree with soft edged and curved furniture in any situation, sharp-edged furniture gives me nightmares (and injuries).

I do love all of the safety things in general, it means most of the people also wouldn't get injured or be at higher risk! A lot of people get hurt in showers and on slippery floors, these are excellent measures to have in every case.
