Ah floorplanning… my worst enemy…
The redo of the inside of Rotten Rose is about to either go really well or really bad.
Here's another shot of the old ground floor shelving from yesterday. This stack gives you a sense of the scale of our summer project!
The old shelving in this truck is now a part of Carmichael Library history. Those that haven't visited our ground floor since this spring will hardly recognize it! The old shelving, along with the bound periodicals that were not weeded* out this spring, has found a new home on the east side of our second floor.
* Yes, we actually do use this term in libraries, just like weeding your garden!
