Most people have it completely backwards.
They talk about the goal before they even start working toward it. They announce the plan before the plan has even been tested. They need people to know what they are doing before they have actually done anything.
And then when the results do not come, the silence feels like failure. But it was never the silence that failed them. It was the noise.
The people who are actually winning in life are not hard to spot. Not because they are loud about it. But because the life they have built speaks before they even open their mouth.
They did not get there by telling everyone their next move. They got there by making the move and saying nothing.
Every hour they spent explaining themselves to people who did not believe in them was an hour they could have spent getting better. Every conversation they had about their dream was energy that could have gone into building it.
At some point you have to make a decision. Do you want people to know what you are doing. Or do you want people to see what you have done.
Those are two very different paths. And only one of them actually leads somewhere.
Put your head down. Do the work nobody sees. Stay quiet long enough for the results to become impossible to ignore.
Reblog this if you are done explaining yourself and ready to just let the work speak.
