# 24 Now What? Part 2
As each individual grows in the knowledge of the truth, the Body of Christ is unified in sound doctrine and in turn is able to build one another up.
Though all scripture is profitable (2 Tim 3:16) not all scripture is written specifically to the Body of Christ for today. Our concentration should be in the pages of Paul’s epistles. There and there alone will you find the doctrine for the Body of Christ that will produce unashamed workmen fit for serving God, rightly dividing the word of truth, (2 Tim 2:15). Here is a quick summery of each epistle:
Romans – A foundational book teaching right doctrine for the age of grace, today.
Corinthians – Teaching grace that moves people towards good works apart from being under a law.
Galatians – Teaching us how to walk in the Spirit.
Ephesians – Emphasizes the new nature, position and mission of the body of Christ.
Philippians – Instruction in maturity and having the mind of Christ.
Colossians – Learning how to operate being complete in Christ.
1&2 Thessalonians – Letters of comfort while waiting for our blessed hope, who is Christ.
1 Timothy & Titus – Leadership with sound doctrine to teach others.
Philemon – Paul models how to be charitable.
-2 Timothy – Final words of encouragement from Paul.
There is an obvious doctrinal progression that should be noticeable as you read through Paul’s epistles in the order of divine inspiration. Where do you fit? Do you need to learn the foundations of right division? Start in Romans. Are you an older Christian and want to help others learn? Check out 1 Timothy and Titus. Everyone fits somewhere in the pages of Paul’s curriculum in today’s dispensation of grace. No matter where you are, he encourages us to finish strong!
“Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.” 1 Timothy 4:13
And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. 2 Tim 2:2
