The New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) launched NYC Build It Back to assist homeowners and landlords in areas impacted by Hurricane Sandy to repair and rebuild damaged homes. Homeowners have been encouraged to:

With the selection of four development groups, HPD is positioned to help homeowners rebuild in six areas of the city. The teams were selected to create a set of home designs for property owners to choose from and help residents rebuild.
