Grand Pabbie cast his gaze around The Valley, considering the exuberant gathering of his people. After a few moments they calmed in his presence, quietly talking amongst themselves.

“Looks like we’re off to a bit of a rocky start.” Pabbie turned to Kristoff with a wise, welcoming smile. “To what do we owe the pleasure of your return home, Kristoff?”

FROZEN // FROZEN 2: Anna's Fairy-tale adventure // Elsa's Mithological journey

It's not a matter of specularity (even if certain transitions and scenes in F2 do remind the certain moments of F1), it's a matter of characters and story evolution, and how the Sisters POV shape the narration: Anna meets various characters connected in different ways to her romantic believes about love // Elsa faces different challanges to taste her powers and get closer to what she views as an heroic destiny.

Frozen 2: Kristoff’s surprise (Part 2)

After a moment, the young man found what he was looking for: a crystal! Sven did not appear to be convinced by his discovery.

However, the adventure hadn't really begun! next step: the valley of the trolls. When they arrived, their family greeted them warmly.

Then, Kristoff showed them the crystal. "Oh, it's perfect!" rejoiced Bulda.

The trolls got right to work with tiny tools. they carved the rock so it looked like a precious gem.

Kristoff and Sven had never seen an engagment ring so beautiful!

But they aren't done yet, the last step: the proposal.

-I will look Anna right in the eyes, and i'll tell her.... explained Kristoff. Well...i'll know what to say when the moment comes. the young man seems hesitant.

Bulda and Cliff, his adoptive parents, start giving him their advice. a proposal shouldn't be taken lightly!

-How will i know it's the right moment? asked Kristoff. follow your instincts, Bulda told him wisely.

On his return to Arendelle, Kristoff wrote a list of things to do to make sure the proposal is perfect. First, getting Elsa’s approval. Nothing easier!
