📚 Happy Book Lovers Day! 📚
Mom says her colorful leatherbound classics include tales of dazzling adventures and staggering treasures. I wonder which one tells the secrets to unlimited radicchio?
In Chrétien’s Knight of the Cart the driver invites Lancelot to jump in, while in Bulfinch’s book Lancelot just kills the man and drives the cart himself. I wonder where Bulfinch got this version (all I know about his book is that he combined various stories along with his commentary)
Bulfinch's Mythology, The Age of Fable, Illustrated, with DJ, 1968
I know I said no new photos from me for a while, but my mom gave these to me this morning. They belonged to my grandfather. Apparently he studied mythology in college. Who knew?
