Spider Mountain is one of the four high points along the Ptarmigan Traverse on my list. Last weekend we climbed Spire Point from the southern end of the traverse. And this weekend we came in from the north to tackle Spider Mountain. We made use of the boot tracks left by the four skiers we met by Cub Lake days ago.
