Muscle Tech (Mass-Tech)
Hey everyone! So, 3 weeks since I started my newest product and after gaining about five pounds of quality muscle mass and better wellness physically I finally have a good product review to share with you.
This time around I am reviewing a product by a company which many of you may have heard of called Muscle-Tech. I am a new user of Muscle-Tech products. So, I wanted to introduce my body into cycling their products with one of the simplest products that you can cycle with called protein. I also chose to start with one of their higher quality proteins.
The one that I chose to use was called mass tech. This was a protein that required you to take 5 scoops daily with 16 oz’s of skim milk as one serving. It was nearly 1000 calories, 70g of protein, 14 bcaa’s, and about 5g of creatine monohydrate. Plus, a lot of nutrition packed into it.
Since, I’m nearing two hundred and seventy pounds I didn’t want to take the suggested daily intake. I knew that a lot of it would just be a lot of excess weight. So, instead of 5 scoops I took 3 daily and four on the last 3 days.
Unlike the other protein products that I’ve reviewed on this blog (which were more goal oriented towards maintaining weight or gaining lean muscle mass) this product was a mass gainer or bulker. If you take the product the way it’s intended to be used then you are supposed to see a growth of: 0.5 inches (arms), 1.2 inches (Chest) and no significant gain or loss in the waist area. The results I saw tottered toward the same. However, like I said I’m already a bigger guy so I had to cut down the daily value a little bit so instead of bulking I actually leaned out more.
I liked this product a lot because it was a simple milk shake flavor. So, it had a good amount of sweetness without an overpowering protein taste. So, I was able to mix it with a sweet additive like banana with about a cup of milk and enjoy it first thing in the morning when I woke up.
I would feel a pump almost as if my muscles were starting to swell as soon as I drank it. That was likely because of the creatine. After about a fifteen minute wait, however, it suppressed my appetite and I felt nourished. Normally I would drink this first thing in the morning with my cup of coffee and then lift. So, this was technically my pre-workout shake.
As soon as I hit the gym I could definitely tell that I was making strength gains. Within the first week I went from dumbbell pressing 65 pound weight 12 times to repping 80pound 8 to 10 times. I also noticed more rep gains on squats with heavier weights. Physically like I said there wasn’t much of a change. However, my arms started to tone out a little bit and my back and chest started to widen.
Overall, Mass-Tech is a hell of a product. It’s filled with bcaa’s to help you through your workout regimen. It also has a great Muscle-Tech Monohydrate creatine which is especially nice to help you with that pump you need to push through your sets. If you’re looking for a protein product that helps you tear through set after set in the gym and also help you feel saturated on your recovery days then Mass-Tech is it. And, If you’re a little guy it is a mass gainer. So, this will definitely help you!
