Honestly I don't think going to 13 shows is greedy or excessive (or even weird). Like I 100% would do that too if I was able. Following bands on tour has always been a thing. If a band means a lot to you and you're passionate about it I see 0 reason why you shouldn't indulge it in. Especially with MCR who've been retired for years.

reactions are the BEST part of sad-ist animations, like besides seeing it myself - seeing the creators of these characters, of this story, being so hyped about seeing themselves displayed as actual characters, seeing their fight scenes actually displayed as badass fight scenes, ahhhh i can't wait !!!

While threatening IS way too far, I get why people are upset. The station DID straight up LIE. They said they had news on/a request from Clancy, which people have been following for months and have been up and focusing on it for days bc it’s been coming to it’s climax. People in other countries are up in the middle of the night just to hear what’s up and it’s JUST a contest and no actual info on Clancy.
Hosting a contest is technically news for a radio station. A media outlet playing along into what little tidbits of concept album hype that’s out there makes sense from a promotional perspective. It’s not like they were specifically asking for an international viewership, especially since they’re not a national/international station, people tuned in on their own accord. Besides, as cool as it would’ve been for it to be legit... in retrospect, it would seem a little silly for a small Arizona station to have international news on a band from Ohio, no?
But i go back to my main point: exaggerating/playing along to the lore is no excuse to call the hostess by vulgar slurs and report her tweets/try to cancel her show. It was just a red herring, and a cute contest for Arizona fans, let them have that because that’s really easy to move on from.

I feel you on the birthday shit. It hasn't fully hit me yet but I'm also turning 28 in less than a month and I know I'm going to have a Bad Time™ the closer it gets. Things are also not great with me atm and it just always feels like I should have a better handle of things at my age and that I've wasted so much time and now it feels too late to do a lot of things. So you're so not alone there.
