My name is Viviana and Milo is my dog.

Milo is a six year old Bull Terrier. In 2017 he tested positive for leishmaniasis and has been on treatment ever since.

In 2020, he became ill with leptospirosis, toxoplasmosis and neosporosis, which severely affected his kidneys, leaving them permanently damaged. Today he is having a relapse in his renal insufficiency, which worsens and generates anemia due to his base condition, which is leishmania.

He currently has very high levels of urea and creatinine, which makes his kidneys not work properly and this causes gastritis that leaves him with a very sensitive stomach and does not tolerate many foods.

Due to all this, he also has very low defenses, which makes him very susceptible to any other disease and other complications such as respiratory or skin problems.

The treatment that Milo requires consists of several sessions of renal fluid therapy. We do not know exactly how many sessions he will need because it all depends on how his body responds to the treatment. Milo has been with this relapse since Dec 30, 2020 and to date we have already spent around 10,000,000 of guaraníes (1200+ euros / 1400+ dollars) between fluid therapy sessions, medications, tests, and special food for kidney patients.

I don't know what the goal is because it all depends on how Milo responds to the treatment. Your contribution makes a difference no matter how much!

Milo is my dog, the best in the world, he is my life and it hurts me a lot to see him suffering.
