Cherish every second because sometimes it ends far sooner than expected. Sadly, my dad's dog Gracie escaped their fenced in yard last Monday. After hours of searching my dad received a message about a dog that had been hit on the highway. Despite our prayers that it wasn't Gracie it was. This December would have been 4 years since my parents adopted her. We always know that our times with our pets is far shorter than we'd like but this was not the end we wanted. She will be greatly missed.
