Slash had started nodding off before he felt movement on his own little makeshift bed. One could say it was part of his natural vigilance.  He rolled to his side, rubbing at his eyes. “Oh…hey…did something happen? Can’t sleep?”

“Okay, no big deal right?” she muttered to herself. Bending down to grab a spoon that had fallen under the table. But it was proving to be difficult. The 9 month belly now standing in her way. Reaching forward, she gasps when feeling the sharp pain through her system. “W-what was that?” That was the weirdest thing she had felt in a while. Standing up on her feet, she felt it again. Holding her hand to her stomach. The feeling of liquid running down her legs.

Was it time? Surely she must have broken her water right?

“C-cid? R-rufus?” she pants, holding onto the counter. Unable to keep on her feet. “M-my w-w-water broke!”

It was completely by accident that the feline has walked in on a familiar turtle taking a refreshing shower. He was in a different surroundings, and thus he was compelled by the need to find out where he is.
