Snowfall.

It was the first biggest snowfall in Finland. Romain stood at the window, stared at the falling snowflakes. Since things were different in France, it was a unusual thing to him. Snow falling in December's first week... It amazed him, though. He liked it.

Romain wanted to go out also, to feel the snow, to touch it... Just to be under it. These things. But this weather was the last thing what he thought about when he packed up his clothes for this little trip to Kimi. So he just stood there, his lips in a thin line as he stared outside. But suddenly, there was something... Someone around him.

Kimi stood behind him, his arms wrapped around his torso. He leaned forward, placed a kiss on his cheek. "Beautiful, isn't it?"

"Oui..." Romain answered, his tone was sadder than the usual. He really wanted to go out.

"Y'know, I've got a little present to you." Kimi said, ran his nose down on Ro's long neck. He just could not keep a smile from the fact, what he did to him. Well, halfly.

"A present?" The little giraffe turned around, faced with the Iceman. "Kimi, there is no Christmas or anything."

"And what?" The answer came with a soft giggle. "Wait here." Kimi said briefly, left the living room, rushed through the hall to the bedroom. He returned with his own sweater and with a wrapped box. Some line advertised, the box's content belonged to Romain. Though this was not so readable, just because the letters gave back Kimi's writing style. What was horrible.

Yet, Romain rose a brow upon reading the lines, not sure what to even say. Kimi handed over the sweater which was that kind of real Norvegian one. With the reindeers and everything.

"Go on. I know you want to go out." Kimi nodded, a soft smile came through his lips. "I do not want you to get cold."

Romain, (still not sure what to say) took on the red sweater. His lips partly opened to finally say something, but no voice came out of his throat. "Where... Where is this from...?" He finally asked, grabbed the sweater to take a better look at it.

"My mother... She used to do things like this. She still does though. I get at least one in every year. As does my brother." Kimi shrugged, his sight dropped on Ro as he stood there, with the reindeer sweater.

"Oh. And what is in the box?"

"Well, it is yours. Obviously." The Iceman smiled, knowing Romain already read the lines. "But first..." He suddenly stopped talking, took the box in his hand, stepped over to the door what led in the snowy garden. "...Come on!" Kimi continued, placed Ro's hand in his and led him out in the snow.

Romain briefly wrapped both of his arms around himself, hoping to warm himself up. "We-we-we really do this f-fo-f-for ONE box?!"

Kimi hummed, tapped his chin in thought. "Yes, it seems, it's cold." He said, barely - not - answering to the question. Of course it was easy to him. He got used to standing under the snow in a shirt.

"Kimi!" Ro squaked, his teeth now clinged together.

"Oh. My bad." Kimi apologized, took his arms around the Giraffe, presented the present straight in front of him.

"Come on! Open it!" He giggled against Ro's back, clearly enjoyed by the situation.

Romain blinked for some short seconds, but then he realized he is freezing in death (almost). So he opened the box and there was some kind of brown and yellow fluffiness in it. He was not sure what to even say again. But since he caught himself on shivering, he took out that something from the box, noticing it has two arms(?). Without more hesitate, Romain finally decided to take that thing on, observed it soon after.

Meanwhile, Kimi let him go just to see his reaction or at least how does he look like. An another giggle left him, now not just from the excitement but from the joy.

"It is amazing!" He then laughed, but still not because it was funny. It was rather cute than funny, actually.

Soon Ro warmed up again, under the two sweater which was already warm now, not talking about the fact, one of them was Kimi's own. But the another one...

Romain grabbed the upper sweater, took a closer look at it, while Kimi pulled a hat on his head, just like a good and caring daddy would do with his son.

The sweater was indeed yellow and brown at the same time. It tried to be a bit black too, just like the Lotus' colours. (This explained why Kimi's sweater is red in this year.) But instead of the reindeers there were giraffes on it.

"My mother was more than happy with making this +1." Kimi explained, a grin was visible on his face. "And let me remember you, this isn't for Christmas, nor for these things. It's for your presence!"

Romain would like to answer something, (Well, argue with Kimi about the sweater, what he felt kinda unnecessary. He didn't like when someone worked because or instead of him.) But seeing his opening lips, Kimi hugged him fast enough to prevent him from saying even one word. Instead of hearing what Ro wanted to say, their lips touched each other while Romain's blue eyes went wide (he really wanted to say something) while Kimi grinned.

"You will argue about it later. The most important is, you will not freeze to death." He said, pressed a kiss on the Giraffe's forehead. "Merry Romain is here day! Now let's go in the snow!"
