was thinking about aharietiam and the oathpact again and how much i fucking love taln. the fact that one of the only times he's been coherent was not him expressing rage at being tortured for thousands of years, nor betrayal at the other heralds sentencing him to that torture, but instead marveling at how beautiful the world is now, because of his sacrifice

I wonder if Renarin's epilepsy was actually cured or if his Radiant healing (which we see described as unusually fast and complete with less investiture) is just so good that even the faintest trace amount of Stormlight in his system would repair damaged neurons and stop misfires before they can get to the point of actually causing a seizure, and everyone just THINKS its been cured because he no longer experiences symptoms. Or maybe it's 2:00 AM and I need to go to sleep.
