i am as obsessed with this song as this fella omg,,,,,

details i had too much fun with below:

its pretty hard to see, but i outlined & threw a little bit of the colors of his wings in there! this is after he loses them, but they're there!

the outfit colors are directly from his outfits as halcyon & passerine- the gray base of the new vigilante identity that consumes him, wrapped in the colors of the long dead hero

the hair & ear feathers don't quite match- he's letting go of his villain mask, moving on to be passerine, but he cant quite let go of halcyon and his family entirely. so, the feathers are of his kingfisher avian, while the hair is the new, magpie-based passerine look

the mask!!!! i finally have a design for the forest's masks that i like. robin's dropping it, letting go of the red magic that ruled him as the honey-yellow of the hive's coats him instead. AND the mask is glitching, n stuff, its out of place- like the forest, like he was as sequoia

and the nods to his childhood dream to be a performer, he wanted to be up in the air and work in his hydrokinesis (well, what he thought was)- so the magic is water-y and he's up in the air without his wings, like he would start learning to be when his story ends

idk i had a lot of fun with this piece, got to tie in every section of robin's story & an amazing song!
