Taking shelter from the dreary Scottish winter in my Victorian apartment
Nothing has ever motivated me before to get fit than the bump-out I just did. Now my brain is like “I must get fit immediately, how else can I haul 4kg sandbags and drag massive wooden boards down three flights of stairs and up one to a loading dock? What sort of technical theatre nerd am I?”
what a night..
Smashed out a 14hr overnighter then a 10hr overnighter
Aaaaand trying to hold my eyes open so I can do a 9am to 5pm day shift tomorrow. Fuark me mate. Really need a massage, I'm literally seizing up.
Bump Out For The Wedding Singer
We get to choose the event for out bump out attachment. So, I did the one on the earlier date which is The Wedding Singer. When we came for the bump out, there isn't much left that needs to be done as most of the job is done in the morning. However, we did make ourselves useful by cleaning up the body wireless microphones. There are in total 30 of it. We also moved out a few props like wooden staircases and moved some metal rails back to the store room. We also helped the crew in altering the curtains from the fly and applied the knowledge of tying knots from Toby's TPM class.
Above is a picture of the stage and me, doing what I do best.
