Amicable forest folk, though a bit picky in their eating habits. With red hair, large heads, and young appearances, this Okinawan yokai lives in a society somewhat parallel to humans.
The kijimuna is a wood spirit in Japanese mythology, specifically that of the Okinawa prefecture. They resemble children of around three to four years, with large heads and red hair.
The kijimuna are said to live in trees, most commonly banyan trees. They are mischievous and enjoy playing pranks on people. Their favourite prank is to sit on a person's chest, making it difficult for that person to breathe. They will sometimes befriend humans, but this seldom lasts for very long.
