My sister think's it's JJP. 1st - roommates. 2nd both have this inferiority complex where Mark one-ups them no matter how hard they try. Jinyoung w/swimming & JB w/his parents. It's strange that JB mentioned how obsessive Jackson is and the issues they were having when if he's Mark's best friend and roommates with Jinyoung he'd be aware of their rivalry but no mention of it (unlike Yug) why would he not mention it unless he's protecting Jinyoung (so neither tell on the other) (1/?)
So, another thing that she finds convenient is that JB would be aware of the fact that Jack and Bam are having issues with/Mark rn. We don’t think it’s Bam or Jack cuz they’re both obvious suspects and aren’t hiding their issues w/Mark so it’d be easier to pin it on them. She can’t imagine anyone but Jinyoung having a reason to meet Mark at the pool (and she knows there’s no text evidence) but it could’ve been said in person. It’s a strange meeting place if there had been agreed plan. In Jinyoung’s interrogation he never answered properly when asked if he got along with JB. He asked a question back which is a bit suspicious & leaves it open ended & is a good distraction technique. Not to mention Jinyoung is in the acting program. The fact that it’s two people is more plausible. Jinyoung could’ve been talking to Mark (JB cuts the lights & sneaks up from behind and blam) Jinyoung provides alibi for JB which seems odd for how they’ve portrayed Jinyoung e.g; he doesn’t care (3/3)
honestly this theory makes the most sense to me rn bc also the way it was carried out it would seem like someone would need good knowledge of the pool/swimming and possibly be stronger/taller than mark (which if there was 2 of them would be even easier) n jjp are so shady abt their relationship?? like they’re roommates so why do they act like they’re almost strangers?? i think they’re hiding how actually close they are so they can’t get linked together... n if they’re both holding grudges against mark then it makes sense that they would team up together... so yea i totally agree with ur sister n this is my leading theory rn too!
