Questions I received:
1.) What is one of your favourite lines in a song you really connect to? And why is it your favourite?
I don't know if I have favourite line.. I mean ofcourse I have favourite songs and bits of the song I like more than others. But I usually just like them because they sound nice or I love the lyrics of that bit but I'm not sure if I connect to it.
Recently I'm liking Tablo's - Eyes Nose Lips. I like the bit where he says 'time flies but you keep breaking its wings'
Indian song: 'Ek din kabhi jo khud ko pukaaray, meri zubaan se tu zaraa, tujh mein chhupee si jo shaayari hai, tujh ko sunaaoon main zaraa' - meaning 'one day if you call yourself from my tongue, the poetry that is hidden in you, I'll make you listen to those poem's' ... I just like the fact this whole is about the guy admiring the girl and making her appreciate her beauty. He is trying to express the way he see's her and talks about everything that she doesn't see in herself, that is hidden from her. I can relate to it because like a lot of people out there we only see the negatives in ourselves and need reminding from others to look at the good qualities.
2.) Albert Einstein said: “Imagination is more important than knowlegde.” Do you think this is true? Please elaborate.
I think its true. Knowledge limits you to what is already known, you need imagination to expand that bank of knowledge and move forward.
3.) If you had to introduce yourself in only one sentence and a stranger should have an understanding of your essence afterwards, what would your sentence be?
This is hard. Hi I'm Hazel. I am an easy going person with a thirst for new experiences and adventures and someone who strives for the best.
4.)We have an awful tendency on only seeing the ugly, when we look in the mirror, but if you had to say three things, you really like about your appearance, what would it be?
Hmmmm. My legs, hair and hands...
5.) Do you believe in soulmates?
I do. I actually believe you meet more than one soulmate in your life. They could be a soulmate friend wise - like a friend who you get along with and connect so well with. Or they could be a soulmate as in the person you will love. So yes I believe there are many types of soulmates out there :D
6.) Have you ever had a cooking/baking disaster? Do tell!
Yes. I am much better at cooking then baking. Baked a cake... outside was fine but the inside was not cooked. I don't understand how I fail at baking every time.
7.) What do you do if you can’t sleep at night? Do you count sheep? Toss and Turn? Try to get up and do something productive?
8.) What is something about yourself that you hope will change, but probably never will?
I wish I was more outgoing and made friends more easily. When I meet people for the first time I am usually quiet and reserved until I'm more comfortable with them and this can be off putting for others and they can interpret it as me being bored or intimidating. I just wish I could meet a group of people and instantly get along and be fun and extroverted straight away.
9.) How difficult is it for you to be honest, even when your words may be hurtful or unpopular?
Depends what I'm being honest about. I find it difficult to be honest about my feelings, thoughts and intentions. I am more honest about what I think about other people. I tell them what I feel warning them that my words may not bode well with them. It is hard when its a really close friend and someone else has told them a similar thing before which has hurt them so I am more cautious about what I say. I will say it eventually if i find that its important for them to know.
10.) When do you find yourself singing? Do you ever sing in front of others/in public?
I sing all the time. In the shower, whenever I listen to music.. mostly late at night. Yes I do sometimes sing with my friends in public or just on my own. I can't even sing but it doesn't stop me.
11.) What did you think you were going to be when you grew up?
A doctor. I don't see that happening anymore though
