💞 How do you win their heart?
Take the time to get to know him and how he works. He doesn’t like rushing into things or even getting his hopes up; it takes time for him to trust. If you show him patience and give him space when he needs it, but understand that sometimes he really does want your words and touches of affection, you’ll have his heart. He understands that this isn’t an easy feat, so as long as you show him that you’re trying as hard as he’s trying to learn you, he’ll stick through any initial rough patches happily.
💓 How do they act when they realize they’re in love/have a crush?
He doesn’t think he’s obvious, but he is. Emotions as strong as these fluster the poor boy. He has a hard time making eye contact with you; he fumbles over his words and gets frustrated with himself. He always told himself that he’d never let himself feel this way, but here he is and he’s honestly kind of scared!
Despite this, he’s a bit softer with you now. He goes out of his way to do things for you that may seem small to him, but mean the world. He’s not good at expressing his feelings out loud, but that’s okay; his actions speak volumes.
🍀 What’s their love language?
As mentioned above, Fugo shows his love through his actions more than words. Giving and receiving compliments flusters him and he often ends up getting frustrated because he can’t control his expressions. Expect little, handwritten notes from him throughout the day (on the mirror before he leaves for you to find when you wake up), lots of hand-holding once he’s comfortable with freely touching.
He also likes to get you little gifts every so often. If he’s out on a job or simply running errands and sees something that reminds him of you, he’ll most likely get it.
This isn’t to say that he won’t verbally tell you how he feels about you, but he definitely feels more comfortable in showing you other ways.
🌼 How do they view their significant other? Are they the light in their life? Best friend? Savior, etc.?
You’re like the cup of coffee that wakes him up in the morning. You’re warm, inviting, comforting; you give him energy when he feels like he’s about to crash. You’re his favorite song or movie playing softly in the background, grounding him when he needs it the most. You’re the safety and support that he needed growing up; the best friend he always dreamed of having. You’re all of that and more to him. He only hopes that he can be the same for you.
