This is awful. Just awful.
Now that he thinks about it, be probably should’ve expected something like that from Braig – but that makes it even more embarrassing, somehow. And what was he doing, standing there blushing like a love-struck idiot? Shameful, really.
At least tracking down Braig gives him a chance to calm down – it isn’t like he’s about to let this go, after all. He finds him on the roof. Eventually. What is it with Braig and heights, anyways?
“You left before I could give you this,” is all he says, squaring his shoulders and holding out a small box. It’s chocolate, of course. Amaretto truffles, to be exact, which is probably a bit much considering how Braig went on a few days ago. But still – Even bought it for him, so it’s going to be imposed on Braig no matter what he has to say about it.
