Happy Halloween, everybody! I made this comic based on a song from Dot and the Kangaroo. I also made it for a Kickstarter project I want to work on, and that’s to hopefully get DreamWorks to get back at working on Larrikins. I haven’t started the project yet, but I made this comic based on my thoughts of the song “Bunyip Moon” from Dot and the Kangaroo and wondered what the movie would be like if the song was put into the movie. Another read why I made this comic was because the Bunyip is one of the most terrifying monsters in aboriginal mythology from Australia, I decided to show it on Halloween. So I managed to finish it without wasting any time, and released it on time.

Listen up. This terrifying piece of filmic majesty has been shown to young Australians for years to teach them about Australian animals. It's a clip from the film "Dot and the Kangaroo", a cute film in which a kangaroo helps a little girl named Dot learn about Australian flora and fauna. Right smack dab in the middle of this charming romp through Aussie bushland, you get this. The Bunyip Moon. This film is shown to children as young as five and is, for the most part, about real animals found in this country. Except for the fucking bunyip and at no point does anyone fucking say that the bunyip is not a real creature. By which I mean when I was five and shown this at school I legitimately believed that there were bunyips until about three years ago and that they literally ate children to become immortal. Which by the way is what bunyips allegedly do. Fuck Dot and the Kangaroo and fuck Bunyip Moon. God I hate Australia.

You know what? If Pitch had this song as his entrance theme, HE'D NEVER HAVE BEEN FORGOTTEN BECAUSE THIS IS THE SCARIEST DAMN SONG IN A KID'S MOVIE. "Oh," you say. "It's a sweet cartoon about a talking kangaroo saving a little girl and telling her a campfire story... in a cave... that is haunted by a monster that killed or chased off the humans that used to live there."
