Beneath the slopes of Velebit, the Bora arrives without warning — fierce, dry, and cold, tumbling down to meet the restless Adriatic. Waves explode against the rocks of Šilo and Punta, scattering spray into the air, while seagulls ride invisible streams, almost suspended in place. The Novljanski Channel trembles under its grip, and yet the sky shines with a crystalline clarity that only the Bora can bring.
