Burcu and Kemal Headcannons

Things are a bit awkward when they realize literal children set them up.

But they want to make it work out.

Kemal knows that Burcu has quit a lot cancelling her engagement so he tries to cheer her up since her family is frustrated at her.

That includes many dates.

They go to so many different restaurants they can’t keep track of.

Burcu feels like a teenager again.

Because Kemal is making her feel things she hadn’t felt before with Tuncay, and she was going to marry him.

The same goes for Kemal.

He had been so angry for so long he feels like a different person now.

He’s very protective over her.

That includes locking his arm with hers while walking.

Grabbing her by the waist in a concert as a way to not lose her.

Or just holding her hands in a way that’s too delicate for him.

He just thinks that she deserves the best after what she’s gone through.

Burcu bakes and cooks a lot, so that means that Kemal gets his own lunch boxes for work.

And they always include a silly sarcastic sticky note.

At night he helps her cook.

They just have a nice time appreciating each other’s company while humming to a song playing in the background.

One time they tried to bake a cake.

It didn’t go well.

They ended up covered in flour because Burcu had started throwing a handful at Kemal because he had refused to go to a parent-teacher conference.

They also ended up bursting in laughter and with a delicious chocolate cake.

Kemal drives his car to school and at red lights he just stares at Burcu while she talks about something or just holds her head by the window while the wind blows her hair.

He ends up meeting her parents.

They try to give him a hard time at first but when Burcu comes back from the kitchen, she finds him and her father just cussing at a football player.

They end up liking him more than Tuncay and eventually believe that she made the right choice breaking up with him.

But she knew it all along.
