Burnt out of its own frustration, the entity had complied with relinquishing the substitute reaper from his path of consumption, and was now shadowing Aizen as per normal. When close enough, the Hougyoku bowed his head and allowed his forehead to rest against the back of one of Aizen's shoulders. Now that the spirit was neutral again, it had come around to seeking contact, if only for the sake of grounding itself further - or perhaps for some sort of reassurance or comfort.

The evening had proven to be quite exciting, though intentions halted– for good reason. Still, the Hougyoku’s aura had calmed and yet there hung some sort of somber atmosphere. Being linked so tightly to him, Aizen often felt much of the entity’s emotions. Even if he rarely admitted so, he was certain the Hogyoku knew.
The gentle contact caused his head to turn slightly. A quiet hum, pensive and perhaps soothing in intent. A careful turn was executed just before one hand found it’s way to the Hougyoku’s cheek. The gentle nature of his touch felt suitable for this instance, even knowing this being was not fragile.
Not a word was spoken but meeting those eyes would be enough to read a sincere ‘thank you’.
