Anyway! Hakuno, Gudao/Gudako have pretty basic qualities in regard dialogue choice. Dubious, oblivious yet eventually growing more determined into their role as Masters. They can seem harsh at time but in all and all, they are kind-hearted individuals with good intentions, even toward their enemies. So I suppose Tamamo searches the good in human’s hearts, naivety she once had and she thinks precious -- never losing hope and cherishing the world whether is it rotten or not! it’s but the mentality of a complete romantic! she supports whoever has a set goal in mind, so long as it proves itself good in the long run. I KNOW, hakuno had none for a while except finding about themselves and she didn’t care but Tamamo is great at reading people! she’s a cunning fox, after all.
or maybe she’s only lying, who knows?
at the end, Tamamo seeks for someone who she can love unconditionally. she doesn’t mind much about details, so long as they’re capable of accepting her for who she is. more than just the blushing bride she acts as, it’s all about understanding her reasons and being capable of revealing even her sins.
